After that, carefully remove the battery by lifting the side closest to the hook for the key-ring. Be sure to wear rubber gloves to avoid damaging the clips or electronic contact surfaces.
Insert the new battery into the socket after the old one is removed. Ensure that the positive side of the battery is facing upwards and that all clips are in place. Then slide the cover back downwards and towards the key-ring loop section until it is loose and slips off. Remove the cover to reveal the hidden key blade.
